The Peninsular arm on which Dakhla is built has a unique tidal lagoon approximately 46kms long and 12kms at its widest point, needless to say it is an excellent nursery for beginner of any age, and a paradise play ground for the more experienced riders, offering Downwind excursion to The White Dune, Oyster Farm, SpeedSpot and other Secret exclusive locations.

On the Open Atlantic side of the Peninsular there are 4 exceptional wave spots that cater for every Surfers, SUP, Kiter & Windsurfers pleasure & level !

Wave Spots

Tourists come from all over the world to enjoy probably 4 of the most remote wave spots, where the desert meets the sea.

Fouim Labouir

This beautiful break point can sometimes produce 2.5-3.0 meter waves, allowing surfers a 2.5 minute ride to the beach.  The spot has been shared with kite surfers and windsurfers alike from professional to beginner standards.

This location is a fishing village 60kms North of Dakhla

No good for kiters or windurfers; the bay is protected by high cliffs blocking the wind; excellent beginners wave, surf and SUP
