What do you Need to Bring with you?
The windy season tends to be March to beginning of September, wind generally varies 22knotts – 32knotts, day time temperatures tend to stay 24°-27° and the night time 20°- 24° The Atlantic breeze is always cool predominant direction from the NNW, so it’s advisable to bring a jacket/fleece and hoody type clothing for evening wear, despite the fact you are in the desert it does get cold!!

Recommended items to bring with you on your trip to Dakhla
If you plan your trip between the months March to September, the following items are recommended:
- Wetsuit 2,5mm – 3,5mm (if you are bringing your own)
- Descent waterproof sunblock,
- Wind proof jacket
- Fleece/Hoody
- Head torch/torch and sleeping bag (for bivouac excursions)
September-February is the winter period, it is not the most stable condition for wind, day time temperatures tend to be a little cooler 17°-24° however the night can be very cold dropping to15°-20° Again the wind is the varying facture heremaking it feel colder than it really is!

- Wetsuit 3mm – 5,5mm (check with us before you come no worries if you don’t have a wetsuit)
- Warm jacket& hat for evening wear
- A Good book!!! (For the less windy periods)
- Sun block
